Day excursions to children homes, orphanages, community schools or school of handicapped children.
We have designed volunteer trips that suit the traveller with limited stay in the country yet with a strong need to help the disadvantaged children in Uganda.
What you can do
- Help in the feeding, bathing and dressing of the children.
- Choose to refurbish a building either by painting, plastering it.
- Help in the day to day activities like cooking, cleaning or helping staff with various activities.
- Counsel the children
- Teach extracurricular activities like sports, art and crafts
- Group games, new songs and reading story books with the children will surely improve the children’s feeling of belonging and love.
Or you can simply tell us what you would like to do for the children and we will be glad to have it implemented.
Remember any one can do this and no experience is required. All that is needed is your strong desire to help those in need.
