Meet with your guide at your place of accommodation and embark on your tour to once Uganda’s second largest and most industrialized town.
Enjoy the scenery along your way, the sugarcane and tea plantations, the green vegetation that surrounds the area, not missing the road side markets with lots of, fruits and vegetables.
Have a stop over at Mabira, a semi-deciduous forest still left in Central Uganda. This forest harbors a vast number of bird and butterfly species. It is also home to a number of endangered tree species and primates.
We then drive on to the source of the Nile River. Here you will have a boat ride to the exact spot where the Nile begins its journey to the Mediterranean Sea.
Proceed to Jinja Nile resort for a scrumptious lunch. Thereafter go to Bujagali falls, a famous spot for white water rafting, cultural performances and other interesting activities.
It is now time to leave Jinja for Kampala, back to your place of accommodation. |
